Hi just wanted to say I like the Christmas border thing. That is called a forum skin right?

Either forum skin or style funnylegs :) Glad you like it :) There are probably some tweaks/features that aren't yet working since all I did at first was install it and turn it on. Slowly going through and adding the tweaks that are present on the other styles :)Question: Why can't I post links or pictures?

Answer: You are in the "registered users" user group. This group is very limited in what it can do. This will annoy spammers to no end
Just keep posting once you have been registered for 30 days and have made 11 posts your account will be "unlocked".
It's really easy to put someone on ignore and it's strongly recommended that you do so with people who's posts you don't like.
Step 1 - log in
Step 2 - click on the "settings" link
Step 3 - click on the "edit ignore list" link on the left side of the screen
Step 4 - type (or paste if you copied and pasted it) the username of the person you want to ignore
Step 5 - click the "ok" button on the right of the screen
Easy peasy and will lower your blood pressure. One important note though, this won't hide quoted posts. It's an oversight on the developers part and it's not an easy thing to "fix." So if someone quotes someone you have ignored, you'll see the quote.
Alternatively when you click on a person's name and view their profile page, underneath their avatar, there is a option that says, "Ignore this person". Click that link and then click the yes button.Comment

Today, I discovered the place way down at the bottom of the page, on the left hand side, where the skin can be changed. I didn't realize that we had this feature! Very cool!
I was wondering whether you have skins for Chanukah. That would be nice for our Jewish BT members.
Since we have the option to change our skins, it would be cool if everyone's holidays were available.
Not meant to burden you or add to your very full BT plate ;) ~ just a thought, if it's possible.

I did not make this style and I can not make changes without the creators permission. However I can ask him to create a logo that just says happy holidays and use that in place of the Christmas one (if he makes the change).Comment

Yearly Religious celebration . . .
Since there is more than one religion, BrainTalk and MGH (and many others) would say Happy Holidays instead of Merry Christmas or mention each religion's holidays that are similar in character to Christmas . . . Judaism is Hanukkah, Kwanzaa for those from Africa, Hinduism is Pancha Ganapati etcetera . . . its uncertain whether Christ was born on December 25, at least because there was no December 25 for more than a thousand years afterwords (the Gregorian calendar was not accepted until around 1582), although I do not know for certain, Buddhism celebrates Christmas to some extent . . . Islam considers their Eid's their nearest similar celebration. Please do not consider this author an expert on this issue though!Comment

I like the Christmas border, but when I try to post I can only post in the " Quick Reply". Am I doing something wrong or is it something else that needs a "tweek" ? lol
It takes me awhile to get things right, but I had forgotten the drop box at the bottom of the page. I played around with it awhile and then got down to business to see if I could get Christmas decor and the LONG reply box. I'm too long winded to use the quick box all the time.

It's been estimated that Christ was born in the late fall coinciding with the solstice. Not Christmas whose date was adopted later.
Quite frankly I am disgusted with the whole Happy Holidays leave Christ out of Christmas crap. Gonna get a sign for my yard, am seeing them all over the city. It was Christmas first.
Just not the same saying Have a Merry Holiday. Irks me something fierce so am going back to my usual BT face and taking my ball and going home. will decorate my browser.
