    picture limit.

There is a limit on number of pics posted to a thread and I am trying to start a gardening for the disabled thread with pics from my own experience and other informative information.

Can the limit be lifted or raised to a ridiculous number?

I think the pictures will say far more than what I can. Please?

There has to be a limit since we are on a shared hosting plan. In order to keep resource usage from spiking too often we can't have lots and lots of photos loading every time the thread is loaded.

Right now the limit is 20 which includes smilies. If you don't use smilies you can have 20 photos in the post ;)
Question: Why can't I post links or pictures?
Question: Why can't I have a signature, avatar, or profile picture?
Question: What's wrong with my account?

Answer: You are in the "registered users" user group. This group is very limited in what it can do. This will annoy spammers to no end Just keep posting once you have been registered for 30 days and have made 11 posts your account will be "unlocked".

It's really easy to put someone on ignore and it's strongly recommended that you do so with people who's posts you don't like.

    Step 1 - log in
Step 2 - click on the "settings" link
Step 3 - click on the "edit ignore list" link on the left side of the screen
Step 4 - type (or paste if you copied and pasted it) the username of the person you want to ignore
Step 5 - click the "ok" button on the right of the screen

Easy peasy and will lower your blood pressure. One important note though, this won't hide quoted posts. It's an oversight on the developers part and it's not an easy thing to "fix." So if someone quotes someone you have ignored, you'll see the quote.

Alternatively when you click on a person's name and view their profile page, underneath their avatar, there is a option that says, "Ignore this person". Click that link and then click the yes button.

I'll have to look into this over the weekend. Seems it might be an overall size limit you're reaching.

Being not at the top of the techno-savvy tier, I'm getting a bit confused about whether to load pix thru the album or directly to my current post. Any advice would be appreciated. Sometimes I just can't get the album to behave! I guess I need slow neuro brain fog directions sometimes. LOVE the smilies, guys!

Sher the picture limit is much higher in the album and then you can always link to it but I am still only getting 5 pics per post. Also I have noticed that every picture you post goes your album section anyway. I don't know if that means that everyone else can see that little bit of info too. GUess I will go see lol .

Well Sher! There you are. How lovely to see you! Love your beautiful furbabies and your arbor is just lovely. No I don't see that pics you post in threads attached to your album.

The picture limit and the albums aren't behaving properly, yet I can not find a reason for this. So I'm going to post on the vB support forum and see what they say.

Ok so I found the culprit in the 5 picture limit The limit should now be correct at 20 (which includes smilies still).
