    old messages lost

    dear all,

    i have sent many message in the year 2005 under a title" my brother in coma" and today i tried to read thse old message but in find nothing.
    could you please help me to find this old topics..

      Those messages would probably be in the Archives, and they aren't available here yet. I am not a moderator but the administrators here are working on fixing this new board, and in time the Archives may be available again. Maybe one of them will come along and give more information about that.

      But if I remember right, the archived posts go back only to 2006. I'm not sure that there is a way for you to get access to the posts you mention but again, the administrators will be able to give you a better answer.

        Unfortunately, those messages were on the old old server that died in late 2006 :( Not sure those will ever be recovered :(

        Good news though, our awesome server host was able to figure out why the archives from 2006-2011 weren't working and fixed them ;)

        Answer: You are in the "registered users" user group. This group is very limited in what it can do. This will annoy spammers to no end Just keep posting once you have been registered for 30 days and have made 11 posts your account will be "unlocked".

        It's really easy to put someone on ignore and it's strongly recommended that you do so with people who's posts you don't like.

        Step 1 - log in
        Step 2 - click on the "settings" link
        Step 3 - click on the "edit ignore list" link on the left side of the screen
        Step 4 - type (or paste if you copied and pasted it) the username of the person you want to ignore
        Step 5 - click the "ok" button on the right of the screen

        Easy peasy and will lower your blood pressure. One important note though, this won't hide quoted posts. It's an oversight on the developers part and it's not an easy thing to "fix." So if someone quotes someone you have ignored, you'll see the quote.

        Alternatively when you click on a person's name and view their profile page, underneath their avatar, there is a option that says, "Ignore this person". Click that link and then click the yes button.

            The crashed “hastypastry server” is currently leaning against a wall, in Dr. Dan Hoch’s office in the Neurology Department of MGH.
            We are hoping to be able to raise funds to be able to attempt to restore the old “hastypastry” database. This is considered a high priority for BrainTalk Communities Inc. As soon as We are finished with the site maintenance, we can begin focusing more on both assessment of the costs of data retrieval, then fundraising for this project.
