Hi
My name is Mark. I stumbled across this site when looking for some info regarding my condition. I'm 48 now and had a Colloid Cyst of Third Ventricle removed in August 2014.
I'm ok. I get tired quite easily but went back to work full time 3 months after my operation but I have noticed recently that I have been suffering mild memory problems. This is the first time I have noticed it and I am keeping calm about it.
Apart from these slight problems and the fact that when I am dehydrated, the 'dints' or 'hollows' on my head where I had the craniotomy become much deeper, I haven't had any issues.
I have the occasional anxiety attack but I guess that's to be expected after going through brain surgery.
I'm hoping I can help others and also take comfort from others too.
