This could give the chronic pain community some leverage to stop all of the BS in having trouble filling your control meds

Steve, thanks for this article as it does raise the question about denying disabled CPers pain medication. I am not looking forward to my dr retiring soon as finding a dr that is comfortable prescribing my opiates isn't easy. One advantage I have in our small town is I know several of the drs personally so maybe I can catch a break that way as it is how I hooked up with my current dr.

After doing some research on this.. you don't need an attorney to file a ADA violation.. Google "file claim ADA violation".. some states have ADA laws as well as the FEDS. If you want something done.. you are going to have to do something yourself.. the more complaints that the Justice dept gets .. the more likely they will react. The ADA law is on your side.. IMO.. the DEA and ADA are in conflict.. and the chronic pain community is caught between corporate America (chain drugs stores and *********rs) and DEA policies. You can use the ADA law to let corporate America to fight it out over the bullies at the DEA. Corporate America needs to figure it out if the fines from the ADA will be more or less than the fines from the DEA ..
