    Roll Call for Everyone!

I hope to see some people back here - I know people are on vacation, too sick (been there recently)lack of activity here, etc. but the lack of activity seems to have people gravitating towards other boards - Give this place a chance and I am sure you will be rewarded with a lot of caring people answering - I for one plan to be more active as I continue detoxing - I will be stabilizing soon and have a new Doc.
    Blessings

      Another old timer

It's good to see that some of the people who were here when I joined (right after the forum opened) are here and still going strong.

It's hard to log on. That's one reason why I haven't been here. You need to inquire about the right password, etc.

Mal, I think you have noted one thing that has called this forum to really slow down. The last crash really made people find another site and most haven't come back. I hope we would get new people to come and then some of the others would come back with more activity.

Mountain man it is good to see you still around. I hope you can come around more often but I know in my situation how many times can I talk about my issues over and over. I got off the surgical merry-go-round after my thoracic fusion. Three big spinal surgeries in the 90's was enough for me and my OSS told me if I had to get another surgery I would be disable and he was right. I held on for 5 more years of work, I loved coaching football and teaching, despite being in agony pain. Finally despite all the things I tried the pain won and my nerve problems along with the pain have been kicking my butt since then. I have to say I kind of miss the wild site this place was back when it started but I understand why this site needed some rules because many came here for understanding and sympathy. Good to see you and Mal back again.

                  Hi all!
Been down with recurring pancreatitis. ER doc is getting tired of me, just glad he is in the minority. Nice to see you guys, so much bad stuff going on. How are we to get our meds? Luckily CVS will order them for me.
If no pain, no gain is true, where is everything I should have gained?
DDD, Fibro, CFS, pain for 20 years. ADR c 5/6 Feb. 2018 doing well.
Back to pain management, fibromyalgia getting worse.

Lil E, sorry to hear about the recurring pancreatitis as my wife dealt with it this past year. It turned out her gall bladder was bad, she had it removed and hasn't had any more trouble with pancreatitis since. It does seem it is getting harder to get our meds and I know my doctor, an old town doctor, told he he feels like he is being watched when prescribing pain meds. I do know that we had a change in the coverage of our insurance this past year and it wasn't for the better. We are being stretched on the cost to the point we have to really consider if we can afford certain medications. IE I have had a bad reaction now and then with the generic Cymbalta that I never had with the name brand but who can afford $800/month when the generic is $81 with a discount card. So now I have had to add another medication to counter the reaction when it occurs. I guess we call this progress or it is until this country comes to its sense and comes up with a Health Care law that makes sense.
