    Burning mouth

This is not a constant problem. It seems to occur with certain foods and I have been trying to figure out which ones. Right now my biggest suspect is black pepper. Does anyone else have a problem with black pepper? This burning can last up to 10-12 hours. I also wonder if it is certain brands of black pepper. Tone's seems to be the worse. Apparently all peppers are not created equal. Only registered and activated users can see links., Click Here To Register...

Burning mouth syndrome can be caused by B12 deficiency, but I imagine you have that base covered. My sister had this for years, and I think she finally figured out what triggered it for her. I can't remember but I just texted her. Will let you know when she answers.

She said she found chocolate and stress aggravated hers, but after six years it has gotten better and rarely bothers her anymore. SHE also said she got some relief of symtoms with orange flavored Trident gum.

Yup, got the B12 well covered. Hmmm, let me see, can I remember where I learned about B12?

Eliminating pepper makes it very difficult for us to cook together. J loves to grille, but he also loves lots of pepper. I have found that I have to cook my food separately.
