Sensitive to weather changes or nightshades?

In the past year I have determined that I am sensitive to weather changes. It took a while to figure out why some mornings I felt like a stiff 80 year old coming down the stairs in the morning. I had pain in my hips, knees and feet either right before or on a rainy day. I am happy to report that since I have gone mostly grain free I do not have nearly the stiffness and pain with changes in the weather (and we have had a very wet June).

I have also read that those with nightshade sensitivity (which I also seem to have developed) may also be weather sensitive. So I can only hope that if eliminating grains helped with the pain I experience before a change in weather that I might be able to tolerate a few of those tomatoes that are growing in my garden.

July, glad to hear you have found a way to reduce your joint pains. You may want to try totally grain free and see if that gives you further improvement.

I go back and forth on nightshades. I removed them because of AI disease but I am not sure I react to them. I do have peppers from time to time.

Judy, that's interesting about the weather changes. So glad you're able to control your symptoms through diet! A few years ago, i started having arthritic symptoms. I did a full-fledged elimination diet, and I'm able to control it through diet too (yea!). Tomatoes are definitely triggers for me, as are white potatoes. Peppers are more in a gray area, but I've been avoiding them too.
