Today I was thinking of Leslie Fitzgerald from GFAB who lived in Maine and was undergoing treatment for Lymphoma at NIH. I was hoping she would be able to find her way to us at BrainTalk--I always enjoyed her posts. So on a hunch I googled her and learned she passed away and her memorial service was today.

awww, thanks for letting us know judy. i was thinking about her the other day and wondering how she was doing. praying for her family.

I was very saddened to hear this. The last post I remember from her was hopeful; she was moving back home and looking forward to at least attending the market. My thoughts are with her and her family.

What sad news :( I so enjoyed her wonderful stories about market, especially the Christmas market. Thanks Judy for letting us know. I had written Leslie a while back but had not heard from her in a long time.

Thanks for posting this. Leslie and I took on explaining how dystonia can be connected to gluten on a movement disorder message board which is gone now. She had dystonia from gluten and when I asked her to help me with this she readily agreed. I'll miss her courage and sense of humor.
