Pretty good actually. I'm getting settled into a new apt and new zip code. :)
After 8 1/2 years of being off gluten, dairy, soy, corn and chemicals, I still have a few of my old cfs symptoms but eliminating the sleep supplements (melatonin, 5htp and theanine) I was taking every nite and taking caffeine pills seems to be helping. For some reason I respond better to caffeine pills than coffee, tea or chocolate.
I'm still taking those sleep supplements from time to time. They help me reach a level of sleep I don't on my own. I just can't take them every nite.
It's great feeling more awake and energized but my neurological system isn't keeping up.
I'm getting some balance problems and tingling. That could be from gluten cross contamination too tho. I've started playing with gf processed foods more. They're not making me feel weak or sick, yay, but I'm prone to having neuro reactions from gluten.
Well that's my long winded update. Hope everyone is doing well.Last edited by Marciab; 03-02-2014, 01:16 PM.

Better late than never. So sad that this forum is not taking off very well. I am in some FB groups but it is not the same as our old BT or GFAB forums.
Still exercising and my goal is to do a push-up by the end of the year. My coach thinks I will do this long before the year's end.
Hope you like your new home Marcia.

Hi. We're anxiously awaiting spring. I don't remember if I said but our symptoms have resolved and what was needed was elimination of all grain. I guess I'll try to grow more next season. I'm guessing our rice supplier must have changed some polishing additive or something like that. It's crazy being this sensitive. It is so hard to figure out the cause. My son's school decided that he would get zeros for any missed work past and future with no ability to make it up. Doesn't that seem like discrimination? So, he dropped out and plans to take the summer session at the community college. Hopefully they will accept him in the fall on the condition that he passes the high school equivalency test and then he'll be able to attend full time. Otherwise he can attend part time for a year and then take the test. He'll be OK. He hated high school anyway.
We bought our new home near Chicago. We have 2 acres and I have found that we will be able to raise 12 chickens. That will be my new hobby in addition to the gardening. I've been busy researching chicken feed. I have always been a bit afraid of getting pecked so I'll have to get over that. I hear they can be nice pets.

Does not seem possible that March is more than 1/2 over already. Computer crashed and was in the shop for more than a week. Glad to have it back.
The month has been incredibly busy, problems with garage door needing repair, snowstorm last Wednesday with 7" of new snow.
Still doing some yoga which is good. Anne I know that you will be able to do push ups soon.
Steph Glad that you are settled, but sad about your son and the school being so non responsive to his needs. You will have to post how you are doing with the chickens once you start raising them. Before we moved we used to get some chickens from an
Amish farm that was about 20 miles away. The chickens taste different than the ones from the story.
Marcy, Glad that a lot of your CFS are clearing up. Hope that it continues.
Wishing everyone a happy spring, if it ever gets here.
