I moved this thread here to Chit-Chat because the forum it was in, "Forum Feedback" is used for specific questions about the forums.

Many hockey and football players are getting lifelong symptoms of traumatic brain injury and dying relatively young because of concussions they suffered during their playing days. There is a specific institutional study now that follows these athletes after they retire and does autopsies on their brains to show if brain injuries resulted in their deaths so that perhaps future athletes might benefit from the information being collected.
