US National Institutes of Health "All of Us" -10-year research project

An e-mail from WebMD notified me about this NIH program. It will go on for 10 years and involves wearing a FitBit, which you may or may not get to keep. Some parts of the program are voluntary. If you sign up to agree to have measurements taken and/or give samples, you'd need to go to a clinic for that but you would be reimbursed $25. There's a fair amount of your personal information that would be included, and it is made clear that there is a slight risk to your privacy.

    ADDED to previous post:

After looking into this more carefully, I think I'd prefer not to take part myself--and would advise others to be a bit cautious.

A lot of personal information will be made available to the people in charge of this project.
