      ((((((Mike))))))

You need a day at the beach, buddy!

Put your feet up, relax and eat some ice cream. You have certainly earned it.

      I can't find a smilie for ice cream, so here's a cookie ...

well gosh, it's Sept. and you finished up in August? Boy have I been gone a long time. I'm very proud of you anyway. I knew you would do good at anything you do.

Now, just a small dose of ICECREAM every evening will do wonders for you. It sure worked for me so try a small bowl and see if it don't just do you good!!

old grannie here sends you many ((((s Mike))))

Congratulations on the hard work. I wish you well. You are in a great field ( I have been in IT for 30+ years) - just be aware, you will never get to stop going to school, I have to , or did be before, I'm Semi-retired, as the field is constantly changing and you HAVE to keep up your Cert's, although a good company will pay your way. Best of luck and welcome to the industry -It's is a fun field.

            s for Jo :)

I agree a small bowl of ice cream does wonders for a person I think I'll start a new thread sometime this week about my current semester now that all of my classes are in full swing.
Question: Why can't I post links or pictures?
Question: Why can't I have a signature, avatar, or profile picture?
Question: What's wrong with my account?

Answer: You are in the "registered users" user group. This group is very limited in what it can do. This will annoy spammers to no end Just keep posting once you have been registered for 30 days and have made 11 posts your account will be "unlocked".

It's really easy to put someone on ignore and it's strongly recommended that you do so with people who's posts you don't like.

            Step 1 - log in
Step 2 - click on the "settings" link
Step 3 - click on the "edit ignore list" link on the left side of the screen
Step 4 - type (or paste if you copied and pasted it) the username of the person you want to ignore
Step 5 - click the "ok" button on the right of the screen

Easy peasy and will lower your blood pressure. One important note though, this won't hide quoted posts. It's an oversight on the developers part and it's not an easy thing to "fix." So if someone quotes someone you have ignored, you'll see the quote.

Alternatively when you click on a person's name and view their profile page, underneath their avatar, there is a option that says, "Ignore this person". Click that link and then click the yes button.

Thank you for the well wishes :) I knew that I'd have to constantly get new certs as new tech and new policies came out, I just hope that I can land a job in the field quickly after getting my degree so I can keep up I'd really like to work for SAIC or even Google, but SAIC would be my first choice. Of course if I find another company that I'd like to work for that might change
