My therapist says, she wants to try hypnotism on me for a thought, which, won't go away, since, nothing, else has worked I'm wondering, has anyone tried it? How wa Did it work? Can anyone be hypnotized?
Wow... I was wanting to look for something about hypnotism, and here is your post!
No, not everyone can be hypnotized. For example, someone I know with tardive dyskinesia is not a candidate because of the TD. You have to be able to relax your body. I also have read that some people's brains don't work the same - something about not visualizing or something. But I think it is worth a try, and am wanting to try it myself for a problem.
The hypnotherapist I may have hypnotize me is a certified "Master Hypnotist." I am so freaked out about what I want the hypnotherapy for that I am not sure I can go through with it. Is that silly, or what?
