Just now my SIL called (yeah, my FILs DD). Her FIL was from here but staying at her house in Virginia but just died. He moved there 2 yrs ago & his car has been sitting in his driveway. His neighbors called officials & said it's a nucence, it never even moves. Joan (my SIL) called officials & was told it must be moved. But no one will tow it without the title. She asked if Steve or Lisa can go & look in the glove box & I would wait there with it to give it to the tow guy. She doesn't know if she has it at her house, he burned alot of stuff. Do you have any other suggestions? :ambivalence:

I talk to John each night & I just asked him. He said the cops have to send you a letter telling you to do something with it. If you no answer they must send another letter & if still you do nothing they have it towed & fine you (at least in this city). Yes, my SIL is in charge of everything (her husband had/was the power of attorney but he passed away so now his wife is.Lorraine (lor)

Lor, those are petty neighbor's!! must not have anything worse to complain about? unless the car has turned into "Christine" how is it bothering them? if parked on the street it's a different matter of course.
guess this is another lesson for all of us when we're left to deal with what a relative leaves behind. my sympathy to your SIL & hope it gets resolved with as less stress as possible.
