Maybe Gone

I might be gone for awhile because I'm going to help my son clean out his new apt/house. Your eyes mighta got widder & thought 'Why in the heck are you helping, it's not yours'. It is fairly big. It was Joan's (John's sis) FILs house but he moved in with her family a couple yrs ago & left the house as is. He has since died & since Joan is incharge of everything & it's her house now & it needs insurance so she will rent it out. (In order to get insurance you must prove someone is living there.) He will be paying her a whopping $1.00! (but of course he pays the utilities) When he saw the real fireplace in the living room & the wet bar in the spare room, his eyes lit up & he said he wants to rent it. lol

What a nice deal for your son. This way it helps both your son and your SIL. Must be different laws there regarding insurance because I insured my mom's place with no one living there.

I think that would be fun myself! and it's a good price for a fact. what happened to the car in the driveway? this could be a win/win situation since the SIL seems to be the only sibling in charge?

I didn't go over today (thats why I can write). Joan & John R going to get a duplicate title for that car. Since she just wants it towed she's giving it to John so he can take care of it (she's outa town, remember). Eeek... Steve went over (my son) & just called to say he opened a drawer with sweet-n-low & mouse droppings in it & 4-5 mice jumped out & ran.

lol @ Lor !! Good luck honey! I remembered you saying what bad shape it was in when y'all went looking for the car title.

I wondered if you had forgotten the mice! Probably the first thing you need to do is call Terminex. You probably don't need to be around when they fumagate though with you seizure problems. I worry about you Lor!!

It's not that I's afraid the mice will carry me off, but if they are desperate enough to have the whole family down to feast on that stuff they are probably EVERYWHERE!!

When you get rid of them there are some things you just plug into a wall thingy. It's supposed to make the mice turn and run outside! lol lol I know it sounds dumb, but our DIL told us about it and we got some. Haven't seen any sign of them for months. I had bunches of box's packed with things from MIL's house. I should have given some of that junk to SIL when she dropped by last night!

OH well. You take care of yourself, Lor. Cleaning out someone's house like that is mega work. Brother and I did Mom's and my SIL's Mom's and Ken and I did his Mo's house!! I've had enough for a life time!! It is HARD work!
