Happy thanksgiving everyone

As I am about to shot my computer down, I wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving, hope everyone has a nice day with their families, and please eat a lot, it is good once or twice a year.

I am not cooking anything major this year, just the stiffing/dressing and some plantains, but I will have plenty of food to eat since we are going to my BIL house, hope everyone have a nice dinner and a good time

well I am cooking & cleaning so already worn out! doing as much today as possible. even got the dining table cleared off & a pretty bouget. will be watching football with my son & housemate tomorrow.

Here's wishing all of you a Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving! I will be doing a lot of cooking and dishes tomorrow since I will be staying home with my DH while the rest of the family will be getting together.
My Dr. wants me to start gaining some weight since I've been sick with pumoniea and sinus infection a couple of weeks ago. I guess that means eating extra pieces of pie. Have a wonderful day and May God

happy thanksgiving to everyone here in this forum and my friends in other forums!

thanks giving...that's what this holiday is about. i have always liked thanksgiving because it isn't over-commercialized, you don't have to decorate for it and it's just a laid-back day to spend with family and friends and just eat, talk and enjoy their company.

but it is also a day where we give thanks for all the things we DO have!

take a moment to reflect on that after you are sitting in a chair as stuffed as your turkey was a few hours earlier .

i am so thankful for each of you here in this emotional support forum. what started as a little group of people trying to get through the winter blues has blossomed into a circle of friends... "we are a chain together, that can't be pulled apart". so to all of you who support me here and in the alzheimer's forum, i want to wish you a joyous day with family and friends.
