As usual, I'm at home with the cats. I just went to a really good grocery to get some of their fantastic fried chicken....phooey, they were sold out so I'll have to find something here.

Last night I didn't find anything exciting or special to eat ...... so this morning I woke up hungry and, of all things, I thought about sauerkraut! Sauerkraut with pork chops and mashed potatoes. Thank goodness I had pork chops in the freezer, a can of 'kraut and a nice bag of potatoes in the cupboard. When I had chops thawed I made myself a really good meal. It was so good I ate some of the leftovers for dinner!

I put bacon grease in mine. Most vegetables get a glob of bacon grease.
Speaking of vegetables ... I have the ingredients for a super broccoli salad in the 'fridge. I hope I can force myself to make that today.
