Kathleen suffered several strokes at 5 years old because of this disease Moyamoya. It is a rare neurovascular disease that is incurable but treatable with a very specialized surgery. Many children and adults go far too long without a diagnosis so I am asking that you take a minute and sign this petition so that we can spread awareness to the public and to the medical field. Kathleen suffered a life threatening stroke which she survived but has lifelong challenges because of this. This can be prevented with early diagnosis.
