No pressure to donate, I just want to share a couple pictures on the page of Kathleen from last years buddy walk and a picture of Kathleen and her sister Kelly. Last year our team raised $1,000. We've just doubled our goal and if we reach this goal My husband will be shaving his head for the Walk day! We're very excited and I know Kathleen will LOVE watching him get his head shaved. The money from this is well spent on local families and nationwide. Did you know that 9 out of 10 pregnancies that are diagnosed as carrying a baby with Down syndrome are terminated??? These number are alarming and I feel sad for all of those who missed out on the chance to have the kind of joy and love in their life that we were blessed with. One mission of our local Down syndrome resource center is to educate the public about all the wonderful things our kids are capable of and to help individuals with DS grow to their greatest potential. It takes a lot of resources to make this happen BUT it's well worth it. Take a look if you get a chance and see Kathleen's wonderful smile!!!

Kathleen's Krew has almost reached their goal of $2,000!!! Kathleen's friends teacher's and student council at her Middle School held a 2 day bake sale and raised $700! These kids are amazing. Yes middle schoolers can be very caring,supportive, hard working, and kind we jsut don't always hear about these stories. Kathleen has grown up with them included in everything they do and I think both she and her friends have benefitted tremendously from these relationships. Reaching our goal will mean that my darling husband will shave his head! He's really shaking in his shoes right now, I don't think he thought we could do it.
