THE USA has systematically covered up mad cow disease, in my honest opinion, the USA mad cow disease today, is Chronic Wasting Disease CWD TSE Prion disease in Cervid, they can't cover that up.

flatfish, over 30 years ago I stopped eating meat, for no other reason than that it was costly and often loaded with fat that I didn't need as a diabetic who had to watch my diet. I soon found out that I had a much cleaner world without meat. Building managers sometimes inspected my kitchen and remarked on how there were no grease spatters anywhere.

When I read about mad cow disease--and about how raising livestock is fraught with risks of other kinds--I'm very glad I don't eat meat any more. I haven't missed it in the least.

I'm not advocating vegetarianism for anyone else. I hope meat-eaters enjoy their burgers and their roasts and their barbecues. Vegetables are good roasted and barbecued too. I'm just saying that I for one am happily getting along without meat.
