Could it be possible that mercury poisoning is being misdiagnosed as CJD?

I am curious whether or not CJD is actually mercury poisoning of the brain from dental procedures. And it's simply being misdiagnosed. How possible is this? Do physicians test at all for mercury poisoning in the brain when CJD is suspected to rule it out...or is there even a test that would show a person is dying from mercury poisoning of the brain?

How similar would each MRI be in each case. How similar would an MRI performed on a person dying of mercury poisoning be when compared to a person dying of CJD?

A diagnosis of probable CJD requires an extensive exclusionary work up. The mnemonic device VITAMINS highlights other potential causes of rapidly progressive dementias:

my mom ( age 72 ) died 2 weeks ago WITHOUT a confirmed diagnoses. she saw at least 5-6 neurologists , alot of "mri's,, spinal tap and approx 5 emergency room visits. she lived in nj and was even discharged from morristown memorial hospital here in jersey and taken by ambulance all the way to " columbia" in new york as she thought the "high profile neurolgist there could diagnose/ help her". unfortunately, that neurologist was just as egotistical as the other 5 in jersey. he diagnosed her with " depression" ! my mom was very healthy, won ribbons at spin class at the gym she attended several times a week. within 2-3 months my mom became severely demented, had uncontrollable myiclonic jerks, seizures, nausea, vomiting, went blind , mute and was quadrapalegic. she also had terrifying hallucinations! all i can say is: if you and i have done enough research to recognize "other possibilities" of this severe rapid fatal illness, why on earth havent these big shot specialists done the same and tested for such ? after approx: 2 months about 3 of the specialists said it could be cjd however..NEVER CONFIRMED IT. in my opinion, all of this is seriously suspicious and totally unacceptable on their behalf. i believe that there could be a "cover up" about mercury poisoning considering silver nitrate drops used in newborn's eyes as soon as they are born not to mention amalgam fillings and let ys not forget mercury in seafood. god knows what else it is in. i also believe alot of this is caused by pollution of all kinds on this planet. prions have been around since the beginning of time here, i believe " first" the body becomes diseased then the prions perhaps move into one's body because the body is diseased inside. this planet is so polluted due to the very fact that the sacred universal law if nature has been destroyed.
