I've been told to cut back on the carbs and starch foods because to much sugar can trigger sz. for some people but everyone is different. Mountain Dew has a lot of sugar so you might want to be careful. I like to drink ginger ale and
ice tea in the warmer weather, there's less sugar in both beverages and the ice tea has antioxidants which is good for a persons health. Here's wishing you well and May God Bless You!
Phyllis, I'm totally addicted to my one DIET Mt. Dew every morning. so I feel for you. mind you I spent a long time breaking my diet soda habit (and ranting about aspartame!) then got hooked on this stuff. high in sodium also. find something healthy to drink dear.and can't go wrong with ice water.good luck!
Just get some lemon juice and add that to the water the lemon juice is good for your kidneys and I know some AED's cause kidney problems so give it a try.
Here's wishing you well and May God Bless You!
Personally, I like Diet Dr. Pepper when I drink carbonated beverages...
I always liked Dr. Pepper and the diet version tastes exactly the same as the original.
In every other brand of pop, the diet tastes different than the original.
For the most part, I'm an iced coffee and iced tea drinker.
Dave I agree. Diet Dr. Pepper in a glass with ice to the rim. Mmmm mm. It is so far the only pop that doesn't have that sugar wanna be after taste.
I don't drink diet soda cause of the fake sugar and I don't let my shortcake drink anything that has it in it. I was at the corner gas station and they have a can of something called Cocaine. What kind of crap is that? Why would a company do such an unethical thing. Well that's a dumb question lol, it's all about the money.
"Water", Pati?!?...lmao!!!!!! You *don't* understand!! I *need* my Mountain Dew!!!...Lol
Yes, I know, I need to give it up, unless, I want more seizures, which, is what this thread started out to be
about, anyhow!!;)
Pati, I know, you can add stuff to water to make stuff like lemon-ade and stuff, but, I mean, having to give
stuff like, soda. Not much, you can substitute for that!! lol
supposedly caffeine isn't good for the heart, fibromyalgia, Gerd and a lot of other things. Then they say that the depression rate among coffee drinkers is lower than non caffeine drinkers but if you drink too much of it then that is bad. It seems that everything we consume is good in some ways bad in others.
Mountain Goo, as I refer to it, has 1/2 milligram less caffeine than Pepsi One. At least that was in 2009 I think it said.
Now me I want to have my daily Coke. I haven't drank coffee in over a year.
It is just one more risk you expose yourself to. Or we expose ourselves to lol.
