This is huge ! prescriptions generics Levetiracetam Keppra Wellbutrin (Budeprion

Huge win for us! A crack in the armor!

Today the FDA recalled TEVA'S Generic drug of Wellbutrin XL 300 (Budeprion XL 300) from the market which it had previously approved in 2006. Read Entire article to see that Generic Keppra ( Levetiracetam ) may be next.

Generics have been working quite well for me, especially Levetiracetam.

Generics do work for some, but not for all. If Generics work for you, it can mean a saving of thousands. I tried 3 formulations of Levetiracetam (Keppra) BEFORE giving up. Each generic formulation caused burning, swelling, and itching, which the brand-name hadn't. I was allergic to something, probably one of the "inert" ingredients , aka excipients, common to these generic formulations. Although each formulation contained the active ingredient , none have the same excipients as Keppra.
