Hi Folks,
It's been a long time since I posted here and I hope everyone is doing well. Things are going pretty good for me but I know I will start to have an increase in my seizures
coming soon. I find it interesting how some people have "seasonal seizures" meaning that a person has more seizures at certain times of the yr. I finally found out from
my Epileptologist that all of this is do to the amount of serotonin and melatonin that's in a person at certain times of the yr. Serotonin can increase a persons glucose level
which in turn triggers more seizures and I'm still studying how the melatonin triggers more seizures at certain times of the yr. for some people. I was just wondering if any
of you have noticed that you have more seizures at certain times of the yr. I find it very interesting how the seasons can trigger seizures for some people. Here's wishing
all of you only the best of luck and May God Bless everyone.
Sue
