    Accepting help is especially difficult for any of us. In dealing with MS being able to accept help is often necessary. That doesn't mean it happens with out a measure of conflict for us.

      Yes, it is even harder to accept help when it's given grudgingly. I find I have had to ask people
      for help who didn't want to be bothered, didn't have the time, but did it as a duty. This is very
      painful, especially when it's in your own family.

      I do everything I possibly can to remain independent, but there are times I have to ask for help.
      It feels good for me to ask when people want to help.

      And when people who have been grudging suddenly do something out of the goodness of their hearts,
      something real, then that's Grace!
