update on me, its been awhile

I haven't posted in awhile and I need to tell whats been going on in my life. Since my wife decided to leave me, I hired a lawyer and I'm in the final stretch of the divorce preoceedings. She has agreed to my terms of alimony. All that is left is signing the paperwork and filing it with the courts. Last week I finished my second Rituxan infusion for my yearly treatment. And last week I became a grandpa! My daughter gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, Lillie Noelle, last Thursday. The craziest thing about me being a grandpa is the fact that I'm only 43! So thing have been hectic, but thankfully the MS has been pretty much the same it has been for years, no change.

Congratulations, Mark. I love the baby's name!

    How was the Rituxan experience?

I remember that you tried in your marriage and I hope you are OK w how it worked out.

    Best to you,

ANN, my Rituxan experience was good. This was my 4th year recieving it. Usually it takes over 6-8 hours. This time it only took 5. I was just really tired for 2-3 day after. And as far as my marriage, she has agreed to pay me support for 10 years, which is 9 year ( 1/2 of marriage) and an additional year to cover my lawyer fees. So, given the cicumstance, I'm happy with the outcome.

        Congratulations on the grandchild!

And it sounds as if the divorce got settled satisfactorily as far as you're concerned. That's good news too.

          Hi Mark,

Congratulations on your new grandbaby. What a beautiful name. I love it. You are young to be a Granddaddy, but thats alright it will give you more time to be with her as she grows up.

I am glad the Rituxan seems to have worked for you and you are at least no worse.

I am sorry the divorce had to happen at all, because I remember you being somewhat upset about it. But if it had to be I am glad that you seem to have gotten a good attorney and one that worked for you. I also hope that you can move on as quickly as possible. It always takes time.

I hope you have a good Christmas!

Good wishes on your new future roads and have a good Holiday.:o
