Happy New Year !
Thanks Gary for starting this,,
My husbands favorite saying, >>> " New Year ,, Hope this year is good for everyone,, This time, I want a fat billfold, and skinny body , lets not mix them up , like last year,",,hahaha ,,
Under a high wind, and winter weather watch,, thats ok though,, its Iowa,, we expect this weather,,
so be careful out there,, later,," Don't outsmart your common sense"

Happy New Year to all of you. I second what Peg said about the slim body and fat pocketbook, although it may be a little much to ask for, but who knows?
I would love to see everyone of us get together again next year just to say hello and not because we have MS, but that is not going to happen. I am afraid we will all still have it. Someday maybe others will not have to say this. But still I hope that we all do well this year and it would be really nice if there was absolutely no progression for any of us.
Hope everyone's day was good. Mine was very quite.

Just got back from Upstate NY last night where all of my siblings (7 of us) gathered with some of our adult children and some of their children to celebrate my parent's 60th anniversary which is this week. In all we had 48 first line relatives and 5 friends of my parents join us for an afternoon of food, fun, singing, playing together, family groupings for photos. We did the whole thing pot luck in the basement of my parents' church so there was plenty of room and things were set up and cleaned up by many willing hands with ease and no additional cost. Heather and her boys went with us and the boys got to watch their first calf being born then had the delight of getting the calf to suck on their fingers. Snow men were constructed and Grandpa (Dave) took them sledding and wore himself out. I was able to reconnect not only with siblings I have not seen in 2-3 years, but with cousins I have not seen in a decade or more and meet nieces and nephews (and grands) that I had never met. Good time but not bouncing back from three days of jam packed action sandwiched between a 350 mile each way trip.

I make the same resolution every year: "I resolve to not make any new year's resolutions". I've kept that one for years, now. :)Originally posted by Gary View PostHope that everybody has a safe and happy New Years Eve. Thanks for the good wishes. I spent New Years at Niagara Falls with hubby the kids and their partners. Oh my. We had a wonderful time. Was in luck 'cause it was a smoking room. What could they have said eh? I am smoking my meds. ha ha.If you throw a cat out of a moving car, is that called Kitty Litter ?
