Too many hoops!
Hi Ann, Yes, there are waaay too many cooks in the kitchen. The sad part is I have to be the one to make certain they are doing their job correctly! The nurse gave me a copy of the doctors orders for me to take with me and I looked it over and noticed that the diagnosis code was wrong! I called it to her attention and she then asked the other gal (manager type) who did not know the diagnosis code for myasthenia gravis. I told her it was 358.0 and if they sent it to Medicare with the wrong dx code they would not pay for it!
It was the doctor's office responsibiliy to get it right! I called the doctor's office to tell them so they can get it right for the next orders. It's no wonder I stay stressed up with trying to make certain all the i's are dotted and the t's are crossed. So far the only reaction or symptom I've had is sharp pain in my head off and on yesterday. I was praying that a stroke was not in my future but I can still smile. (If you can smile you are not having a stroke)
It's always something isn't it?
