Imagine me and you, I do

    Hi

I was watching a news program named Vangard the other day and saw a most ridiculous yet utterly disturbing report. The report/story had to do with a 50ish year old brilliant woman who’s been faking paraplegia for years.

That’s not the weird part. She feels a great need, in order to fulfill her perception of herself, to find an M.D. who will sever her spinal cord, thusly rendering her an actual paraplegic. Has anyone else seen this report?

    Hi,
That's a new one for me; I've heard of people who don't "feel right" having all four working limbs, and will actually fake a loss of a leg, etc. (I can't remember what it's called.)

I saw an advertizement for a similar news story. A woman was working on having all of her limbs removed. What kind of doctor would concede to such a thing. course then you wonder how far someone like that would go if they couldn't get a doc to do it.

      I did find this

By who's standards is she brilliant! Certainly not mine and I don't think anyone on this forum would think so. She may be in some area of her life, but not
in her day to day life where it counts.

It is bizarre to say the least.
