It's nice to hear such encouraging news from both Jeanie and Cherie!

I hope that the two Davids will keep on improving. Jeanie, here's hoping that the liver transplant turns up soon. The wait might turn out to be a lot shorter than 300 days. People do get lucky.

I am so happy to hear that both Davids are doing so well. It is nice to hear some good news for a change. Jeanie my MIL had a form of inoperable breast cancer several years ago and she opted for the same type of procedure. As I recall the only complaint was every once in a while she could get a twinge from the tubes that were temporally implanted. It has been close to 10 years now and she has been cancer free.

Cherie I think that the recovery from any type of orthopedic surgery is time. Having had several surgeries myself I hate the waiting around to get feeling better. I always think that I had the operation and I should feel better NOW.

Doc put me antibiotics and said that he was doing this based on the fact that pneumonia almost killed me a couple years ago and better safe than sorry. I never had much of a fever and just a bit winded and tired (yeah I know how can you tell?) I am still coughing like 95 year old coal miner. But again its gonna take time.

My internet pooped out and had to get a new DSL modem. I did up the speed that I pay for. The old one quit and I took into the phone company they tested it and said nothing wrong took it home and still did not work so the tech came out and checked the wiring and said "Hmm I don't know why it works in the office and now out here" So back to town and got a new one. I never thought that I would say this but I don't think that I could live without my 'net. Funny I remember how impressed I was the first time I saw a color T.V.

Still cold at night but warms up close to 50 during the day. Hard to remember its still winter.

Now if we can get Gary to feeling better.

It is a lovely sunny day here today, but dry. We need rain soooo bad! Seen my Nuero this week. He says I look great (we all hear that one). I guess I am doing good. Doc is ordering an MRI 'cause I haven't had one in 6 yrs!

Guess I'm doing Ok on Copaxone. Just hate the reactions where I feel like I'm going to pass out...
I've lost my Mojo though.

Well...David couldn't wait to get home from the hospital, was in overdrive on the computer and phone for about 5 hours then slept for the bulk of 18 hours. Slowed down and less comfortable today. He's listening to me again.:ambivalence::o

:)Hi all. Cherie I am glad David is home and listening to his nurse. David also was discharged and is to lay down as much as possible for a week. No hot tubbing either til then. He is a recalcitrant patient but Iam hoping for the best.

I am very tired but ok. My foot went down a lot with the compression socks all night and today. He will have a CT scan in 6 weeks to see how successful the procedure was.

Gary, I also remember being fascinated the 1st time I saw color tv.

Gary, we had our first TV, in 1946 (I was 5)(My Father worked for RCA Victor). But it was 1976 before We owned a color TV. My Dad never got one, because he thought they were ugly, in the early days.:)
