    Lady had MS

Here is a article from our local news channel. I am not judging and honestly I just don't know what to say. Other than I am terribly saddened.

How tragic. And they were only in their 50s and were known for helping their community.Words fail me.
    SPMS diagnosed 1980. Avonex 2001-2004. Copaxone 2006-2009. Glatopa (glatiramer acetate = Copaxone) 12/20 - 3/19/24.

This is really so sad. I wonder if her MS had anything to do with it, and I also wonder what advanced stages mean.

Until you have walked in their shoes...

I know there have been times that, had we not had such a stong faith binding our relationship and ourselves to God, this might have been us. 20+ years of our marriage have had me so ill that there has been a real strain but I consider myself immensely fortunate and blessed to have a common faith and a daily prayer walk with my husband. That has clearly helped sustain us when others might have been led to something as in this story.

And I do not specify what faith...but a mutual faith seems to be an indicator in many studies of longevity of a marriage where there are severe health issues.
