Thanks for links to Jen’s hub page. Doc had mentioned to me the deaths of 11 Gilenya users. He has downplayed this most serious “side effect”, that being death. He reports to me that a number of his patients have currently made the switch from A, B or C to Gilenya without experiencing problems. Doc wouldn’t give me names or phone numbers of these patients so as to question them, reasoning that patients’ privacy precluded him from doing so. Guess that’s proper enough.
I’m not too concerned by the apparent deaths possibly linked to Gilenya. I figure that after all I’ve been through and, continuing to be alive in such a messed up state of ill health, so what if I happen to croak off with Gilenya? It’s not like being alive holds so much promise and is so great anymore.
I’ve been “dead” a few times. It’s less than simply not being alive anymore; it’s even less than nothing. It’s like before being conceived; while forming and growing; before your birth. Remember how that was? Exactly.
