Thanks Howie for checking in and letting us know you are alright. If you didn't eat yesterday you need to eat a lot tonight!! I couldn't go a whole day without eating unless I was very sick. I am glad you are back. I was getting tired of walking back to my computer or trying to read from my iPhone which I have trouble doing on this site.

I am glad you are feeling better. I think Agate was about to wear her worry beads out rubbing them.

      Howie ~

Thank you for checking in, and we're all glad that you are okay. Are you getting any rain now from Tropical Storm Elsa? I hope you are having a nice meal and relaxing with Sam. Please keep us updated.

I'm so sorry that your brother and SIL lost her mom. It must be devastating for her husband after 65 years together. He will need a lot of support.

Elsa seems to be dropping a considerable amount of rain, so I pray that you don't have flooding.

Enjoy your visit with your niece on Saturday.

Thank you for sharing those clever paraprosdokians and for teaching us a new word!

Hope everyone is safe and well ~

      Love & Light,

Howie, I'm glad you surfaced and are still eating. Did the housing paperwork issue get straightened out? Your sister was going to help with it, I think?

Rose, this truly is a big loss for that family. They are all taking it hard. My brother and SIL's children were the only grandchildren, so they were special to her. Grayson withdrew from a tournament today and is coming home. My other nephew is also working out of town, but while he might not be here for the funeral, he will be here sometime over the week-end to spend some time with his Mom and his Grandfather. My SIL posted a picture on Facebook of her holding the new baby. I could see the grief on her face, even as she held her Grandson for the first time.

Agate, my sister and BIL took me out to the mall I couldn't find, and the paying rent is straightened out. What a hassle. That's what wore me out, plus I made a store trip as soon as I got back from that. I overdid it, and paid the price. I feel fine now, but am looking forward to a restful sleep. I wish the same for everyone else.

Hope that doesn't mean you'll need to make that trip every month or whenever you need to pay the rent.

Traveling can be very tiring, I think. Too much can go wrong.

I also hope you will not have to go to the mall every month. Glad your sister and BIL were there to help out Howie. Life does get hard sometime.
