    Paging Howie

Howie, you haven't been here in 10 days. For many people that's not unusual but for you it is.

    Here come those clucking hens.
    SPMS diagnosed 1980. Avonex 2001-2004. Copaxone 2006-2009. Glatopa (glatiramer acetate = Copaxone) 12/20 - 3/19/24.

    ((((((Howie)))))) ~

Did you win the lottery and buy a ticket on one of the billionaires' space mobiles, with a deal to stay in space for awhile longer than 11 minutes? Did you write a letter to William Shatner, and he invited you to come live with him?

Your computer is new, so there shouldn't be any problems with it.

Please check in with us to let us know that you are okay. We just want to know that you and Sam are safe and well.

    Love & Light,

    ❤️❤️❤️❤️

    Rose

Howie may not realize just how much he matters here. Or if he does realize, he may see no point in letting us know what's going on.

I sent him an e-mail earlier today. No reply yet.

Message boards need to drive traffic to their site, and nothing works quite so well as spicy material, or that's what I've heard. Controversy can do wonders too but Howie used to go streaking through this site, creating quite a stir, if anyone remembers.

        Those were the days.

I'm not sure anyone checks in on him very regularly. I'll see if I can call him today after I get home from the flu shot.

I got through to Howie today by phone. I'm glad he's keeping his phone on. He is doing OK and will be back soon and will let people know more details about his long absence then--maybe on Wednesday.

He sounded fine, and Sam is still getting her sliced turkey.

                      Well guess who's back?

I simply couldn't pay my internet bill. Why? Because the power company used the excuse of "helping out during these virus days". Well, after a few months, they sent me a HUGE bill. I had to choose between having electricity, or TV and Internet. Electricity won.

So I've been watching DVDs. I have LOTS of DVDs.

Being payday, and after a phone call, I got my TV and internet back. And where's the first place I go? My car forum! Just kidding.

I paid my bills, and made my store trip, and it was much needed. I was out of everything, but timed it to last until today. Sam ran out of cheese, but I made up for it by getting TWO packages of it today. She ate the last bit of turkey last night, but was never out.

It's good to be back. Agate, thanks for the call. I really enjoyed it.

I hope everyone has a great day.

So happy to see you again!

Why didn't the power company notify you sooner? I receive reminders that my bills are due via email, even though I don't pay them all on line. If my snail mail crosses with their deadline, I automatically receive a notice that I've missed a payment. Even when I don't owe anything, I still receive a statement with a zero balance.

Was the power company willing to accept partial payment? I hope so. Also, COVID is not over by any means, so all of those nice things corporations did for us last year and part of this year should continue.

May I suggest that when you have these kinds of issues preventing you from using your computer to post that you call agate, so she can reassure us that you are healthy and safe? We hens tend to worry, you know.

Sam and you must feel good about having everything sorted out and plenty of cheese!

                          Love & Light,

                          ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Hi Rose. Since I can't get into the power companies website, I have them send a bill via snail mail. And when they stopped, and sent a text message it was to help during the virus days. I actually thought that meant they were not charging for electricity. That's my own stupidity. So I paid it, and gave up TV and the internet. It's good to have everything back.

By all means! Worried hens are a nuisance to have around.

It sounds as if this has been one more instance of the COVID generosity bubble bursting. I've run into a couple of other examples. There were all of these generous gestures on account of the coronavirus--for a while. And now some companies and organizations are tightening their pursestrings and trying to pay themselves back. At least that's how it looks to me.
