Pay no attention to Howie, Parsi. We all know you've taken part regularly in this board for many years and deserve to have the happiest birthday so far.

Thank you. Now I'm the one being late. I haven't been on for a week.

So Sunday, after church we met up at the Mexican place near our house. First time there though I had been wanting to try for some time. Husband, son, and I each had ordered a menu item. In addition son also ordered the meal for two. If we go again I think we should just order the meal for two. There was enough for about 6 people I think. Especially with the nachos and salsa appetizers.

I was expecting it to be delicious because a college friend had recommended it on Facebook. It certainly didn't disappoint.

On my birthday itself I got two bouquets of flowers. Hubby brought home one from work the night before. I cut off the ends and put the powder in the water. They are still in great shape. The other was delivered to the front door. It came from my son and family. I just put it on the table as was. I really should have taken them out of the vase and reinserted them. Not all of them were securely in the water. I finally did that yesterday. Most of them survived but I lost the tulips.

What beautiful bouquets! I'm glad you went to a restaurant and enjoyed that in honor of your birthday. Birthdays aren't quite as much fun to think about as they were when a person was about 10, and so the best thing to do is probably to make the best of them and celebrate. Mexican food sounds like a really good choice.

Beautiful flowers Parsi. You can look at them and think about how much you are loved. I enjoy Mexican food but haven't had any in several years.
