I started Myrbetriq and a form of vesicare….no dry mouth!

I am taking 10 MG of solifenacin daily and I was taking 25mg of MYRBETRIQ. That was not working well enough so he increased the MYRBETRIQ to 50mg. I actually risked it and went to market last Saturday with the new meds and did not take the oxybutinin.

I have been taking oxybutinin for 30 years and it worked perfectly well. Then last year I started taking up to 4 10MG pills each day and the dry mouth was so bad that I felt as if I could not get my mouth open! With my new meds I have no dry mouth and they are seemingly working well enough. I got through the entire Saturday market without accidents or leaving the market in search of a bathroom.

I will start kesimpta this week. I will keep you all posted in case anyone is thinking of switching from Ocrevus to kesimpta..

Linda, this is good news. I hope the meds keep on working for you. I know you would hate to miss going to market.

You're taking Myrbetriq along with Vesicare? This is really good news--that you've been able to get rid of the dry mouth.

I tried 4 of those bladder drugs, including Vesicare, and every one of them caused dry mouth so bad that I'd wake up several times a night with it. I'm going to find out more about Myrbetriq.

        SPMS diagnosed 1980. Avonex 2001-2004. Copaxone 2006-2009. Glatopa (glatiramer acetate = Copaxone) 12/20 - 3/19/24.
