In May I signed up for a county program offering at-home COVID-19 booster shots. Finally my name came up, and today I had an appointment for the (second) booster shot.
They came an hour and a half after the scheduled time but what an impressive team they were. Spiffily uniformed in forest green and bristling with clipboards and badges, the team of three were here for all of a couple of minutes--just long enough for me to fill out a brief form and for one of them to give the shot. They filled out my card to show that I'd had the second booster shot (Pfizer), and then they were gone. Very very easy, and I didn't have to spend the better part of a day going to some location where I'd have had to find my way around.
I am slow at processing information, apparently, when in an unfamiliar place. I can't seem to find signs that I need to see or hear people telling me things I need to hear.
