That made me feel old. I remember all the things shown. And I didn't know cassette tapes were considered old. I have hundreds, and when I bought my PT Cruiser, I special ordered a cassette, and the standard CD player and they put one in. It was sort of sad to see some of the things that no longer exist but were personally important to me growing up.

Yes, I was surprised to see cassette tapes among those items. I have a LOT of cassette tapes and I still listen to them.

Sad to see pay phones among them too. There really aren't any, any more, or at least I haven't seen one in quite a while. Everyone's supposed to have a cellphone, I guess. But everyone doesn't.

This forum is about to join the things that have passed into the past. Where is everyone? I know it's Summer, but I doubt many from here are out enjoying ANYTHING in this heat. Sam, have you got everyone's tongue except Agate and mine? Let them go!!!

We're like the skeleton crew that is still here. We remember the days of the flame wars and the many people who went storming off or who left under a cloud of some kind, and some of the memorable characters who were on board here as well.

Anyone remember HardyHarHar and Joker? They posted jokes very regularly but that's all they ever posted so far as I knew. We never learned anything about them.

They made us laugh which contributed to making folks forget they were "sick" if even for a little while. They were here as well as you Agate when I first found this forum. Virginia, we know you have family issues keeping you busy, and family comes first. Thanks for checking in. It made Sam feel a lot better.

It could have been Agate. My memory, especially the time of certain events is foggy. I have to ask my sister now and then how old I am. I know when I was born, and can count the years myself, but that feels like doing math, and I hate math. It's easier to ask my sister.

Howie, do you have a pocket calculator? I like my solar-powered calculator in situations like that.

I had one for years, but it finally quit working. They are very handy, and I've been meaning to get another one, but I really don't go in anyplace but the grocery store. Wait a minute, Amazon. I KNOW they will have one.
