New COVID-19 booster shot targets omicron variant

It seems people will need yet another COVID-19 booster shot because a new one has been developed that will target the omicron variant. The medical researchers are trying to keep up with this virus, and it does have its quirky way of popping up in newer versions.

How's everyone doing with getting this latest booster shot?

I was scheduled to get one at my primary care doctor's office on Tuesday but then I had a call from the county program that is offering at-home COVID vaccines to those who have difficulty getting to locations where the shots are being given, and now they are coming here on Tuesday, which for me is very good news.

Dr. Anthony Fauci is retiring and was on the PBS evening news this evening, stressing the importance of getting this booster shot.

I had no problems with mine. I can't remember if I even had a sore arm.

That's really good to know. I wasn't looking forward to another shot reaction. Some of the Glatopa shots have been problems for me. But the flu shot this year wasn't bad at all--just a sore arm that wasn't unbearably sore.
