An acquaintance with MS is finding that taking Vimpat (lacosamide) has helped to control muscle spasms. It's an antiseizure drug but it apparently has other uses. I've found some information indicating that it's been prescribed for neuropathic pain but so far haven't heard of any other instances where it's been prescribed for muscle spasms.
