November 2022 Keep on Moving

MS creates some real challenges to keep on moving. It helps to inspire each other on how to find ways to move.

Did you stretch in your bed, swing your arms, roll side to side today? Or perhaps you did housework? Or exercised in a pool? Tracked your count of steps? Chased your cat around the home? Pushed the wheelchair wheels with your arms at the store? Post them here and we can support and egg each other on.

REMEMBER: this is a keep on moving thread, not keep on exercising! Any moving is important it doesn't have to be exercise! Even Science proves that.

I'm getting over the flu shot today but a new shopping cart will be arriving and I'm going to want to try to put it together. That will involve some standing and quite a bit of arm and hand strength. I've done this before with previous shopping carts and hope I can still do it. Right now just the thought of opening the package when it gets here seems like a challenge I'd like to postpone but as the day goes by, I'll change my mind.

I am just sitting and playing on my iPad today. I have had a virus or something which started yesterday, so not feeling like doing anything. No temperature. It is running 95.5, which is almost too low and could be a sign something is going on. I hope to get in some activity next tomorrow or day after by latest..

My average step count for October: 1,893 steps/day (based on 27 days)--better than the previous 2 months but those were summer months
