Several people..myself included..have trouble logging in. Peg (in Iowa) has not been able to get in, for example. I played around for about an hour and finally found a post to another forum, got there, then backtracked to here. Sometimes the Only registered and activated users can see links., Click Here To Register... works...sometimes it doesn't. Just so you know!
...I am not a doctor nor medical professional, and don't pretend to be one, here... :o

It's nice to see you back here! How have you been doing?

Getting in here seems to be a matter of trying first one thing and then another and hoping that sooner or later something will work.
        SPMS diagnosed 1980. Avonex 2001-2004. Copaxone 2006-2009. Glatopa (glatiramer acetate = Copaxone) 12/20 - 3/19/24.

I worked for a couple of days with the guys who set us up on the new server. Typed in my name on top then hit enter. It brought up a log in screen and I was able to get in from there but could not enter my password at the top of the page.

I logged in today from the top okay, but to reply I get quick reply too. :ambivalence:

I don't know what I did but I found lots of goodies like Bold underline.

I highlight the word (hold the mouse down on a word and then let go and it changes for me like the above.

Those folks using webtv need to use the "lightweight" template. It's the only one that's going to work. Webtv's older software is ... well ... old. MSNTV is newer and would probably handle the newer software being used.
Question: Why can't I post links or pictures?
Question: Why can't I have a signature, avatar, or profile picture?
Question: What's wrong with my account?

Answer: You are in the "registered users" user group. This group is very limited in what it can do. This will annoy spammers to no end Just keep posting once you have been registered for 30 days and have made 11 posts your account will be "unlocked".

It's really easy to put someone on ignore and it's strongly recommended that you do so with people who's posts you don't like.

                Step 1 - log in
Step 2 - click on the "settings" link
Step 3 - click on the "edit ignore list" link on the left side of the screen
Step 4 - type (or paste if you copied and pasted it) the username of the person you want to ignore
Step 5 - click the "ok" button on the right of the screen

Easy peasy and will lower your blood pressure. One important note though, this won't hide quoted posts. It's an oversight on the developers part and it's not an easy thing to "fix." So if someone quotes someone you have ignored, you'll see the quote.

Alternatively when you click on a person's name and view their profile page, underneath their avatar, there is a option that says, "Ignore this person". Click that link and then click the yes button.

                  Mike,
I spoke with Howie, who has webtv and gave him your instructions above. He tried twice and still can't get in. Any ideas?
                  Thanks,
                  Lady

Webyv does not have the right browser and webbies can not download any other browser. Mike switched my format to a phone template and that has allowed me to start a new thread.

I could post a reply from the beginning but had to log on in a funny way (not using the top of the page for username and password.)

The problem now is that the page Mike set up for me shows the threads but does not show the username of the person who started that thread. Today I discovered that if I use the "front page" I do see the name of whomever started the thread.

So I use one page if I want to start a thread and a differet page to just read!

This response is being written in a small box that appears on the left side of the page so I actually see little of what I write.
                    Good luck!

That is strange Laz. :ambivalence: I guess it will take time to get the bugs out. Good luck to you too and I'm glad you're feeling better.
