About side effects of new COVID-19 vaccine

My first COVID-19 was the Johnson & Johnson one, but the ones after that were all Pfizer. I had almost no side effects with any of them. One or two times I felt slightly feverish and ache-y for the rest of the day, with a slight sore arm.

I am overdue for both my flu vaccine and COVID booster. I will have to get to the pharmacy sometime and have them.

Meantime, I have taken the Pfizer vaccine from the beginning. Except for a slightly sore arm on one occasion, I experienced no noticeable side effects.

I have had the flu vaccine and I am scheduled to get the new COVID shot next week. The nurse who gave me the flu shot
said she wouldn't give me the two at the same time even if I wanted to. Some people are getting them both at the same time, but she said with MS she just would not risk it.

I'm so glad your nurse advised against getting both the flu shot and the COVID vaccine at the same time, Virginia. I've felt like a wimp by chickening out on that idea because people have been saying it's so much more convenient to have both of them at once.

More convenient, yes. But how convenient is it to be immobilized by pain and feverishness, maybe for a week or so? A flu shot has done that to me sometimes.
