    MS helping organization disappoints

Some time ago one of the better-known MS organizations put me in contact with someone at another (fairly well-known) MS organization with a view toward furthering a discussion of fall prevention and fall prevalence among people with MS. I was hoping to find out more about possible resources and information.

The person set up an appointment to call me at a certain time on a certain day a few weeks ago. She never called.

We set up another such appointment, for today. I rearranged my day for this and had to exempt myself from a fire drill in this building on account of needing to be available for her call. It never came.

I'd be reluctant to set up any more of these non-appointments. You have to wonder sometimes whether the people staffing MS organizations really understand much about MS and what it does to people.
    SPMS diagnosed 1980. Avonex 2001-2004. Copaxone 2006-2009. Glatopa (glatiramer acetate = Copaxone) 12/20 - 3/19/24.
