    Remembering mmcc

Some here will remember the many useful posts by member mmcc. I looked her up online just now and was saddened to find out that she died 4 years ago. She must have been about 67 but she did not die of MS. It was lung cancer.

I remember her posts as helpful and witty. I can't quote any of them exactly but recall one remark she wrote, after someone had posted about some research study involving mice--"I'm tired of those mice who have been leaping out of their wheelchairs for years now." Not an exact quote but approximately what she said.

It was that kind of remark that endeared her to people here.

Thank you Agate for posting this. I remember her so well. I remember her as being very helpful to me and for quite a while she would answer many questions I had. She was someone I liked.that.

I will be back on the forum as soon as I can.

For some reason she popped into my mind and I realized I knew her real name and looked her up. I do recall some news coverage posted here years ago when she testified at a hearing about Tysabri (natalizumab) but I don't recall the details at all.
