I couldn't get the image to come up. Hope all of you had a good holiday! Oops, I forgot Tim would not be celebrating this one. I didn't do anything special, just pretty much hung around here.

I am due to go to my Nieces tomorrow for a Birthday celebration for a three year old. It is to be 100 degrees here with a heat index of about 112 degrees. I am not sure it is very wise for me to go, but my brother will pick me up and take me and bring me home. Otherwise, I know I would not go.

It's been near 100' here today and will be over 100' for the next few days, "they" say. Virginia, I agree that it's definitely unwise to be out in that much heat. If you're sure every place you're going to be in will be air conditioned, and it sounds as if that's the way it will be, I hope you'll enjoy the party.

I don't know what went wrong with that image. I'm still seeing it. So sorry you can't see it. Does anyone else see it?
