Keep On Moving thread for March

It was Sunshine 2 (AKA BBS 1951) who initiated this thread. In her memory, here is her original message:

MS creates some real challenges to keep on moving. It helps to inspire each other on how to find ways to move.

Did you stretch in your bed, swing your arms, roll side to side today? Or perhaps you did housework? Or exercised in a pool? Tracked your count of steps? Chased your cat around the home? Pushed the wheelchair wheels with your arms at the store? Post them here and we can support and egg each other on.

REMEMBER: this is a keep on moving thread, not keep on exercising! Any moving is important it doesn't have to be exercise! Even Science proves that.
Have people been moving even though sometimes it's difficult?

I've been trying. I hope to post my February step count averages soon. Recently I got a new pedometer and am still trying it out but I'm not offering that as an excuse for being late with this thread.

I do have an excuse. I've had a few extra tasks to deal with lately and they have kept me busy. I'm still doing my 15 weight lifts (2-lb. weights) 3 times a week and have found that I can actually lift the 3-lb. weights a couple of times. I couldn't do that before.

My 6-year-old grandson has no problem with those 3-lb. weights.

I'm sure the world has been waiting impatiently for the February average step-count, but it's not anything to stand up and cheer about: 886 steps/day, averaged over only 20 days.

This might not be very accurate as both pedometers were acting very oddly. I retired one of them, put a new battery in the other, and got a new one. Stay tuned. March may have better results.

That is very good Agate! Wish mine was that good for 20 days. Keep going. We will be waiting for March!

It's great to have a cheering section. I'm still standing on one foot for 30 seconds, then on the other foot for 30 seconds each day. I'm still hanging onto a counter with one hand but sometimes I can stand unassisted for a few seconds. I think I may be getting better at this.
