If people here aren't snowed in, maybe someone will check in and let the BrainTalk world know how things are going.
Have you done something out of the ordinary lately? Accomplished something? Failed to accomplish something? Whatever you've been doing, we're interested. How are your pets if you have pets? How is your health?
My DIL has recovered from surgery (gallbladder removal), and that is a big relief as there were some serious issues but she's home now.
I heard a large crash the other night--Thanksgiving night, which was rainy and cold--and thought a raccoon might have knocked down a plant or two on my patio. I went and checked but everything seemed all right. There is no other light out there in this building's back yard but in the morning I was able to see what had happened.
The wood fence that surrounds this building had apparently given way. Maybe somebody deliberately rammed into it but the wood is probably rotten. At least half a dozen boards are now down, leaving quite a gap in the fence, which is about 6 or 7 feet tall.
The office has been closed most of last week and won't be open until Tuesday. They let fence repairs wait for months, typically.
That is my big dramatic adventure--looking down the yard and finding out what caused the crashing noise.
I hope Virginia will be back soon and let us know how she is doing. Cellulitis is no small matter.
