I've embarked on a revised PT routine, and working the new exercises in takes slightly more time than before. I have 5 new exercises but was able to subtract a couple of others.
The average step count I racked up for April (based on only 24 days) was: 1,016 steps/day, worse than any month since June 2025 but I have excuses:
1 - My back has been a problem ever since one of the PT sessions (over a month ago). It's very gradually getting better but has really slowed me down lately.
2 - The new pedometer is still being put through its paces. On some days it just hasn't recorded anything, and in general it must have a somewhat different sensor than the two pedometers I was wearing before.
MS creates some real challenges to keep on moving. It helps to inspire each other on how to find ways to move.
Did you stretch in your bed, swing your arms, roll side to side today? Or perhaps you did housework? Or exercised in a pool? Tracked your count of steps? Chased your cat around the home? Pushed the wheelchair wheels with your arms at the store? Post them here and we can support and egg each other on.
REMEMBER: This is a keep on moving thread, not keep on exercising! Any moving is important it doesn't have to be exercise! Even Science proves that.
